Nice!

The nose starts pretty farmy and grassy with a noticeable earthy-peat, but not much smoke. It eventually rounds to something sweeter and rounder with bits of sherry and some seaweed coming through. The palate is lightly fruity and sweet but the sherry doesn't stick out like some finished whiskies... it's more integrated. Finishes lightly peated with lots of black pepper, wood spice, and hints of jalapeno. Slightly seaweedy character. Finishes spicy and somewhat sweet/fruity with light smoke. Reminiscent of a more reserved Springbank 15.
