Longmorn Dun Bheagan Bottling Note

A lovely little Longmorn, distilled in November 1997 and aged for 13 years in casks 90581 and 90582. It was finished in Barolo red wine casks before bottling in 2011 by Ian MacLeod for their Dun Bheagan range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Apple peels, toffee, pepper, oak and cereal sweetness. A little tropical fruit, red berries, spices and vanilla.

Palate: Sweet, spicy and gripping with redcurrants, quince jelly, hints of oak, dates, walnut, mixed peels and stewed fruits.

Finish: Intense, good length with pepper and fruit.
