Nose: A gorgeous combination of poached stone fruits, maraschino cherries and dried fruits leading to apple cider vinegar.
Palate: Marzipan and dried apricots leading to Cognac-like leather and masses of Pedro Ximenez sherry.
Finish: The finish is as long as you could want it to be with notes of candied orange peel and thick sherry.
Overall: Complex, deep, fresh. Everything a whisky of this age should be.
