What's in a name? Littlemill 12 Year Old whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Littlemill 12 Year Old whiskey, rather than whisky.
The nose is of medium-body with curious vegetal and lactic notes. A touch sour with hints of sulphur and estery sweetness. The palate is quite full-bodied and very round with notes of barley sugar, toasted cereal and oily nuts with a rubbery character. The finish is long and quite sweet with herbal notes.
