What's in a name? Linkwood 25 Year Old (Gordon & Macphail) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Linkwood 25 Year Old (Gordon & Macphail) whiskey, rather than whisky.
Aroma: fresh cut grass, flowers and citrus fruits, zest, ginger and some hay. Palate: bit bitter - some waxiness with honey, pepper, ginger and lemon.
Comments: gentle, good balance. I would like to see more complexity.
