Nose: Salt and citrus tang. Oyster-like metallic tinge with sticking plasters, toffee apples and bonfire smoke. Lots of malt.
Palate: Rich, punchy with lots of vanilla cream, followed up by iodine and peat smoke. Underneath there is an oaky, fruity palate with a lot of tangy lemon notes.
Finish: long and heavy with peat.
Overall: A powerful cask-strength Laphroaig, it's worth adding a splash of water.
