Nose: Redolent of sweet spices, maple syrup, granary toast, manuka honey, hints of smoke coming off of damp oak, a little tanginess and fruit.
Palate: Medium-bodied with sweet, creamy malt notes, juicy barley, custard, toffee apples, cherry bakewell tart and a tinge of sweet smoke.
Finish: Good length with barley, gingernut biscuits and orange zest.
