    Product details

Inchgower 29 Year Old - Single Cask (Master of Malt)

A lovely little Inchgower which we just had to bottle. This was distilled on the 30th June 1982, and it was aged in a single refill hogshead for 29 years before bottling on the 22nd November 2011. A release of just 190 numbered bottles, at natural cask strength.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Very malty and sweet with hints of blueberry conserve, rhubarb crumble and custard. A touch of fizzy cola bottle sweets, sherbet lemon and cream soda. What a nose!

    Palate

A sweet, creamy delivery much akin to a spoonful of runny honey, which warms the palate with more than a hint of nutmeg and stem ginger. It develops with dried apricot and toffee brittle, and a little pine needle tanginess builds late palate.

    Finish

Long and creamy with Chantilly cream and punchy spices. A touch of potpourri on the tail.

Reviews for Inchgower 29 Year Old - Single Cask (Master of Malt)

    Go and get

Nose: Light, wood, lemon & sweets, grass and hay Taste: Sweets, fudge, vanilla orange and some sharpness and somewhat sour (in a good way) Summary: Oh’ darn this one is good. Nice balance of sweetness and sourness. Lots of wood and somewhat rough on your tongue. Thick and gives me a shiver (also in a good way). This whisky is a bang for the buck, well worth the price. /Jens, www.chwisgi.com

    Regular Guy

Well Im no expert, I got the bottle and tried it. Yikes, its like a bomb went of in my mouth. Very atomic, to much going on very spicy. I won't give it a bad ratting, its just not my taste. I had expected it to taste like glenfarclas
