What's in a name? Imperial 17 Year Old 1995 - The Octave (Duncan Taylor) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Imperial 17 Year Old 1995 - The Octave (Duncan Taylor) whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Vanilla and melting butter, black olives, orange blossom and lemon zest.
Palate: A sweet, lemon-driven palate with tropical fruits, porridge oats with barley malt and cinnamon.
Finish: A spiced, fruity finish.
Just had my sample of the octave (Duncan Taylor) and I can't believe the different flavours that emerge!
Fantastic! ........just noticed master of malt are out of stock, hopefully replenished in time for christmas
