What's in a name? Highland Malt Stag whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Highland Malt Stag whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Clean, malty, spirity.
Palate: Grainy, cut hay, barley.
Finish: Short, warming.
I was taught bye my Dad and uncle Jerry how to run the still at the age of 12 in the 1960s And the smoothest sippen whiskey Ive ever had the pleasure of enjoying was a Canadian Sip-pen Whiskey I thought even smother than my best brew bye far was Stag. The best and it was only $8.00 a bottle 20 years ago
