Hanyu The Wave Bottling Note

A very rare bottling of single cask Hanyu, this was bottled from cask 9305, and there are just 200 bottles, all at natural cask strength. Serge from WhiskyFun.com awarded it a very impressive 91 points!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Very rich and sherried. Notes of sticky toffee pudding, dates, walnuts and cocoa. Creamy hints of vanilla, pannacotta and soy sauce.

Palate: Very big. Notes of creamy vanilla. Cinnamon, nutmeg, overripe fruit. Cooked bananas, manuka honey and peels. Oaky, cedarwood. Sultanas.

Finish: Sweet and rich. Rum spices, plumwine, more soy sauce and hints of coriander.
