Haig Dimple 70 Proof Bottling Note

Incredibly rare blended whisky from one of Scotland's oldest brands! This whisky is at 70 UK proof (the old method of measuring the alcoholic content of a spirit which was stopped in 1980 - 70 proof is roughly equal to 40% abv. The bottle contains 26 2/3 fluid ounces of whisky, roughly equal to 75 cl!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: The nose has warming notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and caramel.

Palate: The palate is medium-bodied with smooth notes of honey and fudge, with a touch of peat and barley creeping in at the end.

Finish: The finish is ample with manuka honey and warm spice.

Overall: This is classic Dimple as bottled pre-1980, tasty and historic.
