Glenrothes 25 1987 Bottling Note

This was distilled at Glenrothes in May of 1987 and aged for 25 years in a single cask (cask 5839) before bottling in May of 2012. A release of 237 bottles at natural cask strength, bottled for Duncan Taylor's Dimensions range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Spiced and aromatic nose with oak, marzipan, peach nectar, nutmeg, foam bananas and lemon meringue pie.

Palate: Herbals and spiced, mint liqueur, more of those foam bananas from the nose, figgy pudding, a touch of star anise, cinnamon and malt.

Finish: A long, malty finish.
