This whisky hails from Glenrothes and was bottled by Signatory in 2012. Glenrothes suffered substantial damage thanks to an explosion in 1903 and then after a fire in 1922.

Nose: All-butter croissant with notes of caramel and malt.

Palate: Crème Brulee, cream and cinnamon form a sweet and velvety palate.

Finish: The finish is long with notes of rum and mixed spice.

Overall: This is a sweet Glenrothes with a spectacularly long finish.
