The nose retains a good sweetness with plenty of barley and toasty cereal notes. A little balsa and malt extract with a touch of juicy raisins and toasted oak. The palate is quite smooth and silken in delivery with notes of creamy toffee sweetness, a little mocchaccino and juicy sultanas. There is a gentle smoke, lingering with obedience. The finish is long and toasty with oaken spice.
