This was distilled at the Glenrothes distillery in 1990 and it was aged in bourbon barrels before a finish in sweet Jurancon wine casks. It was bottled at the Bruichladdich distillery and there are just 289 bottles…

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A sweet, creamy nose with notes of red berry fruits, prunes and plums, sweet cinnamon, vanilla and Black Forest Honey with a touch of Victoria Spongecake.

Palate: Rich and fruity, with creamy notes of toffee apples, pears and cranberries. Peaches in syrup, stem ginger and cassia.

Finish: Good length with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg on the tail.
