Interesting fact… Glenmorangie Sonnalta PX whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Glenmorangie Sonnalta PX whiskey, instead of whisky.
Nose: An incredibly rum-like aroma! Semi dried fruits, honey sweetness, great complexity. An extra dimension develops, offering rye spices. Fascinating. Palate: The sherry is very well balanced, and at no point over-steps the mark. Instead Sonnalta wallows in the gloriously fruity territory of well-aged rum and tropical fruits. The Master of Malt
Rye convert
As a huge fan of Rye whisky I’ve found some single malts quite austere but this is absolutely fantastic – rich, thick, powerful and very very accessible. My first bottle is already half empty, it won’t be long before I’m back for more!
Outstanding...
This is simply wonderful, if you haven't tried it then buy some immediately, if not sooner.
Very Special

Another beautiful and tasty Glenmorangie with a lot of depth in especially nose and finish! I already finished 2 liter bottles and I will buy me some more before it's gone!!
Superb
I like the Sonnalta so much I had to buy another two bottles. This is going two dissapear from the stores shelves soon!!!
I paid over $700 for this at the distilery!!!
They told us,it was a "distilery only" release.I'm definetely glad it's not THAT price on here!!My bottle's got about a 1/4 left in it.I'll be buying the replacement for it from here from now on!!
oooooh, this is good
One of my favorite desert malts, one of the more expensive Glenmo's but so so worth it. Has to be tasted to fully understand how good it is.
