Glenmorangie Millennium Malt Bottling Note

This Glenmorangie was laid down at the turn of the millennium, but what makes it interesting is the glimpse it gives you, retrospectively, into where the distillery was heading over the next decade. This is the precursor to releases like Astar, and drinking this, it all makes sense, like finishing a rubrics cube or a game of solitaire.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Light tropical fruit and vanilla with a touch of banana essence and malty sweetness.

Palate: Soft feel, but the flavours retain great clarity. Fresh oranges, bananas and a bit of baked apple. Hint of peppery spice buried in honey sweetness.

Finish: Medium with lovely malted honey sweetness and a twist of pepper.

Overall: A delightful modern malt.
