Glenlivet 1985 Bottling Note

This was distilled at the Glenlivet distillery on the 3rd December 1985 and matured for 22 years in hogshead number 19746 before bottling at cask strength by Signatory on the 29th July 2008. Part of a limited release of just 223 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Big and chewy, actually has a hit of smoke on this one, with berry fruits, boiled sweets, hay and charred oak.

Palate: Full bodied, with hints of smoky malt, beneath notes of cut hay and vanilla spice, and barley.

Finish: Hay, grassy and sweet cereals.
