Scotch Single Malt - Speyside - 2013
International Wine & Spirit Competition
Insider knowledge: Glenfiddich 21 Year Old whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Glenfiddich 21 Year Old whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
Nose: Creamy vanilla with a hint of figs and caramel. Similar to how you imagine Christmas at your favourite aunt's house would smell.
Palate: Distinguished with ginger and lime. Warming pepper.
Finish: Supremely long and dry.
I just bought my first bottle today and I had 2 drinks. I savored each and every sip. Its not a Lamborghini, but its definitely a Mercedes S-Class
