This is the ninth release of Glenfarclas 1989 Family Cask - an extraordinary whisky which was aged in a single sherry butt (number 19289) before bottling in 2012.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sweet, aromatic nose with butterscotch and fudge. Hints of melted rum and raisin ice-cream, creamy malt and prunes.

Palate: A lovely sweet/savoury balance on the palate, with a mix of dark chocolate and coffee beans. Hints of Brazil nuts, ground walnut and caramel lattes.

Finish: Very long and spiced. Intense and oily.
