Nose: This is fruity and sweet with pronounced ester notes of green apples, bananas and papaya. Very unusual for a Glenfarclas.
Palate: More tropical fruit, quite citrusy but still sweet with a little pear juice. Turns drier towards the finish.
Finish: Quite short and very dry with green and peppery notes. This leaves you wanting more.
Overall: An interesting dram that isn't your typical Glenfarclas, but none the less is a very arresting and shows intense clarity of flavour.
