Glenfarclas Family Cask 1972 Bottling Note

This Family Cask was a sherry butt, the whisky was distilled in 1972 and the result is a beautifully balanced Glenfarclas with anise and toffee apple notes. This was aged in cask number 3546, which was bottled on the 30th November 2006. A release of 645 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Coffee, cocoa, sweet, dark spices. Port wine, smoky, floral.

Palate: Dark toffee, cocoa, apple peels, orchard fruits, blossom.

Finish: Spices, herbal, mochaccino.
