A tasty 19 year old, cask-strength Glendronach, distilled in 1993 and aged in an Oloroso sherry butt before bottling in 2012. This is the second UK-only release with just 673 bottles all told.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Honeyed peels, notes of raisins, butterscotch, custard, stewed fruits, cinnamon and a little walnut loaf.
Palate
Date and walnut loaf, manuka honey, oaky, potpourri, figs, Greek yoghurt, black pepper.
Finish
Long and spiced finish, with oily coffee beans.
