What's in a name? Glenburgie 14 Year Old 1997 (Signatory) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Glenburgie 14 Year Old 1997 (Signatory) whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Barley, hay, apples, toffee, pepper and hints of petrol! Herbal and quite fruity.
Palate: Orchard fruit, malt and rhubarb crumble with custard. Just that.
Finish: Citrussy, maybe Seville orange marmalade, pepper, granary toast and hay.
