A cocoa-rich, spicy single cask Glen Moray from Duncan Taylor's superb Octave cask range. This was distilled in 1994 and aged for 17 years before bottling at cask-strength.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttery toffee and beeswax. Cocoa, black pepper, apple peels, honeysuckle, Baked Alaska.
Palate
Honey and malt. Rhubarb crumble with hot custard, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish
Spiced and intense.
