Glen Moray 19 Year Old 1991 Rare Auld
A Glen Moray from Duncan Taylor's Rare Auld range. Like the others this old whisky was bottled at cask strength and is non-chill filtered to preserve every last bit of flavour. It shows marked differences from the 23 year old expression.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
The nose starts on ashes and mown grass, and develops on meadow flowers and caramel. It’s light but quite nice.
Palate
The mouth is very sweet, round and creamy, there's apricot syrup and apple pie notes.
Finish
A short, soft finish with more baked sweeness.
Overall
An easy drinking whisky with a sweet and fragrant character.
