The nose is quite rich with a good sweetness. There are notes of acacia honey and vanilla spice. A dry ropey note emerges with hints of eucalyptus and cut herbs; mint and fennel. There are hints of rubbed petals. The palate is quite full and dry. There is a well-balanced sweetness from the dried peels with mixed fruits emerging. The sherry notes are quite full and dry, notes of juicy sultanas proffer cud to chew with a whirling smoke from the dry oak. The finish is long and quite dry.
