This is a 16 year old, single cask Glen Garioch from Douglas Laing's superb Old Malt Cask range. It was distilled in May 1992 and was aged in a bourbon barrel before bottling in August 2008. This is a release of just 312 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Vanilla, toffee apples and spice. Biscuity malt.

Palate: Malty, spicy palate entry with brandy butter and cooked fruit.

Finish: Long finish with gentle spices and sweet vanilla.

Overall: What a superb bourbon barrel it must have been!
