Nose: This is much oakier, almost plankish at first nosing. Develops notes of warm butter and vanilla.
Palate: Rounded, slightly candied and orangey, with the oak giving the whole a good structure here. Gets very spicy.
Finish: Long, sweet, candied, slightly gingery.
Overall: A very good Imperial once you get through the oak.
