Whisky or Whiskey

What's in a name? Dalmore Gran Reserva whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Dalmore Gran Reserva whiskey, rather than whisky.

Dalmore Gran Reserva Bottling Note

This bottling was released to replace the Cigar Malt, this is an excellent dram with notes of cigar leaf and honey and plenty of Dalmore spice. Gran Reserva is matured in a mix of sherry and bourbon casks.

Dalmore Gran Reserva Tasting Note

Nose: A little light. Like breakfast: malty toast with jam and butter, marmalade too, filter coffee and tobacco (not breakfast for everyone).
Palate: Medium, cream. Notes of orange and zest, herbs and spices; star anise, fennel, chamomile and orange blossom. Fudge.
Finish: Medium to short. Malty, salty butter, cocoa.
