Dallas Dhu 1975 G&M Bottling Note
Matured in refill bourbon casks, this 1975 vintage from Gordon and MacPhail's Connoisseur's Choice range is a superb 32 year old expression from the Dallas Dhu distillery.
The nose is of good body and well-balanced. There are fruity notes of Poire William and Barlett Pear. Hints of white peach with nectarine and cut straw with a touch of malted barley. A little espresso hangs somewhere in the mix. The palate is full and quite rich. There are notes of nectarine and buttery vanilla fudge, hints of exotic fruit salad emerge with a touch of wood smoke. The oak is tannic with developing dryness. The finish is of good length with a touch of pepper.

this is a delicate whisky with a big tropical fruit flavour. very very tasty.
