What's in a name? Cutty Sark 15 Year Old whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Cutty Sark 15 Year Old whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Balanced. Marmalade, sherry. Barley. Very gentle smoke.
Palate: Good body, round. Orange peels, hints of smoke, winter spice.
Finish: Medium-length, spice, fruitcake, oaky.
Still a nice dram, especially for the autumn evenings.
