Insider knowledge: Clynelish 16 Year Old 1997 - Single Cask (Master of Malt) whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Clynelish 16 Year Old 1997 - Single Cask (Master of Malt) whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
Nose: Jaffa cakes and lime zest becomes lemon curd and peach.
Palate: Salted and viscous with grapefruit and fresh, ripe peaches.
Finish: Tingly stone fruit goodness.
Overall: Ticks all the right boxes, this is a tremendous Clynelish.
Yep, this fantastic. Such power! Great distillery. Great cask
