Clynelish 1990 Dimensions Bottling Note

A deep, tawny-coloured Clynelish, distilled in May 1990 and aged for 21 years in cask 3229 before bottling in 2012 by Duncan Taylor for their Dimensions range. A release of 161 numbered bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sherried peels and creamy vanilla. A touch of prune, date and cocoa, notes of beeswax, black pepper and apple peels. Dry oak too.

Palate: Intense and spicy, coats the tongue in oily spice, notes of dried barley, stem ginger in golden syrup and chocolate raisins.

Finish: Chocolate-led finish with butterscotch and hazelnut.
