The nose is rich and full and quite spirity. There are feinty notes of soft leather and honeyed cigar box. Notes of beeswax and mixed fruits, hints of pine oil and a coastal character. The palate is quite full and well-balanced. There is a good degree of barley sweetness, some orange and boiled sweets and notes of gentle smoke and cut grass hay. The finish is of good length with a touch of dryness.
