Distilled at Caol Ila in May of 1983, this was aged for 28 years in a single cask (number 3618) before bottling in 2012. A release of 413 individually numbered bottles from Duncan Taylor's Dimensions series.
Smoky with salt caramel, notes of cooked banana, almond oil and honey. A little potpourri and toasted barley.
Aniseed and cough syrup, satsumas, smoke and a little hint of sticking plasters. Fruit develops.
Good length with notes of orange zest and malt.
