This is a smoky, rich 21 year old Caol Ila from the Vintage Malt Whisky Company's Coopers Choice range. It was aged in a single cask (number 9056) before bottling in 2012.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sooty, dusty nose. Hints of quiet peat smoke and lemon juice. Kippers, hints of TCP and black olive.

Palate: Rich smoke and hints of sweetness. Beeswax and thick malt. Soft, oily smoke and cooked fruit.

Finish: Smoked ham and allspice. Olive oil.
