Nose: Surprisingly fresh. Gentle Madeira, fruity acidity, floral. Caramel, coppery, smoky, dry balsa wood, creamy chocolate, sherry, aniseed.Palate: Thick, honeyed, sweetness, grapey. Citrus zest appears from time to time with malt. Latte, toffee.Finish: Greengage jam, coffee, rum-like texture, peat smoke.
