Interesting fact… Bunnahabhain 18 Year Old whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Bunnahabhain 18 Year Old whiskey, instead of whisky.
Nose: Full, doughy. Cereals, warm pastries, lightly salted butter. Some bruised fruit emerges with a hint of smoke. Iodine. Malt, apple peel.Palate: Quite dry, bruised apple, pear sweetness. A definite burnt character emerges: smoked ham, spent matches.Finish: Short, but pleasant. Burnt pastry, smoke.
