Bunnahabhain 10 Adelphi Bottling Note

A stunning single cask, deeply sherried Islay whisky from Bunnahabhain. This was distilled in 2000, aged in cask 948 and was bottled at 10 years old in 2011 by Adelphi. A release of 636 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Lovely notes of buttery toffee, sherried peels, gingernut biscuits and apple peel. Hints of smoke, kerosene and a little lemon zest.

Palate: Ginger, malt, hints of smoke, thick custard and gentle wafts of maritime air, old ropes and peat smoke.

Finish: Zesty, spicy and malty. Hints of berry fruits, smoke and lapsang souchong tea.
