Bruichladdich 16YO 1993 Bottling Note

A 16 year old single cask Bruichladdich distilled in November of 1993, this was aged in a refill hogshead before bottling in July 2010 for Douglas Laing's stellar Old Malt Cask range. A release of 346 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Chocolate, notes of hazelnut, toasty oak and nutmeg. A little hay, farmyard notes, salt and very subtle wood smoke.

Palate: Vanilla cream, notes of cantaloupe, cocoa and lemon meringue pie, custard and rhubarb.

Finish: Creamy, long finish with salt and ginger.
