Interesting fact… Bruichladdich 1984 whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Bruichladdich 1984 whiskey, instead of whisky.
Nose: Fresh, leafy. Allspice, vanilla, soft toffee, coastal.
Palate: Soft sweetness, touch of dry oak, vanilla spice, peppery, cocoa.
Finish: Spicy, a little astringent fruit, peppery, vanilla.
This is the sort of whiskey that makes one want to earn more money. Bruichladdich 1984 is smooth, subtle and has a terrific finish without being overwhelmed by peat.
