This is the first ever rum finished 'Laddie, this was matured for 15 years in bourbon before an additional 2 years in rum casks used to mature their Renegade rums. The rum came from the Uitvlugt and Enmore distilleries in Guyana - used to produce the exceptional El Dorado range of rums.

orc, I think your right. My wife is a red wine type. But she has gotten into a bottle of this I ordered and really liked it. I'm hoping there will be some left for me when I get home!
