Bruichladdich 15 1st Bottling Note
Matured largely in American oak, with a little Spanish oak. An increasingly rare first edition, the 15 year old is a great, fresh, lightly-peated offering from Bruichladdich.
The nose is of good sweetness, with notes of pepper and spice, a little briny note with marmalade and malt. The palate is of good body with notes of pepper and marmalade, cut fruits and malt. The finish is long and gently peated with fruit and malt.
