Single Malt
Scotland
1 Jan 2012
This 35-year-old Brora single malt was bottled at 48.1% ABV from refill bourbon casks. Only 1,586 bottles were produced of this excellent single malt in 2012.
Please note: The labels have suffered some discolouration over time, still perfect, delicious Brora inside.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Sparkling white grape juice and waxy Crayola crayons leading to mushroom stuffing and musty attics, then there is a perky suggestion of ground white pepper.
A burst of fruit leading to salt, charcoal and chewy malt with less peat influence than previous years.
Leather and spice with a dusting of icing powder.
This will please connoisseurs, there is plenty going on (similar to the 2010 release) and an extraordinary complexity.
