Bowmore 25 1987 Bottling Note

A 25 year old, single cask Bowmore from Douglas Laing's incredible Old and Rare Platinum Selection. This was distilled in February 1987 and aged in a refill butt before bottling in April 2012. A release of 124 bottles at natural cask strength.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A floral, aromatic nose with soot, tobacco smoke, lavender and toffee apples.

Palate: Caramel, malt and vanilla. Hints of tonic water, gingerbread and lemon sherbet, alongside oily wood smoke.

Finish: A floral, coffee-led finish.
