What's in a name? Bowmore 25 Year Old 1987 - Old and Rare (Douglas Laing) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Bowmore 25 Year Old 1987 - Old and Rare (Douglas Laing) whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: A floral, aromatic nose with soot, tobacco smoke, lavender and toffee apples.
Palate: Caramel, malt and vanilla. Hints of tonic water, gingerbread and lemon sherbet, alongside oily wood smoke.
Finish: A floral, coffee-led finish.
Good catch! Thank you very much for pointing it out, we've corrected this now. --The Chaps at Master of Malt
