Interesting fact… Bowmore Cask Strength 1l whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Bowmore Cask Strength 1l whiskey, instead of whisky.
Nose: Acetone and spice, pear drops, woodsmoke, old ropes, fleur de sel and butter.
Palate: Dry and oaky, malt loaf, burnt toast, marmalade and smoked kipper.
Finish: Burnt wood, hickory, kippers and sultana.
Great whiskey, at full strength overpowering! Nose; clean and crisp, peat. Taste; apple, toffee apple, slight honey, water brings out creamy peat smoke. Very nice for a winter dram neat in a flask.
