Bowmore 25 Bottling Note

A 2007 release of 25 year old whisky from the Bowmore distillery. The older whiskies used in this single malt were aged in predominantly sherry casks and this has brought a lovely roundness with coastal notes, dark smoke throughout and a little mochaccino.

Bowmore 25 Tasting Note

Nose: Creamy, leafy, soft peat, coastal, gentle smoke. Some vanilla.
Palate: Poised, dryness, hints of sweetness. A dark, smoky peat.
Finish: Gentle smoke, bittersweet, dusting of cocoa, oak.
