Bowmore Cask 32207 Bottling Note

This was distilled at the Bowmore distilled on the 22nd November 1985 before a 25 year maturation in hogshead 32207. It was bottled by Signatory for their Cask Strength Collection on the 25th October 2011. An out-turn of 247 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Oaky and fruity, with notes of pepper, lemon sherbet, barley wine and hints of peat.

Palate: Lemon-y, tangy and fruity with notes of ginger ale, mineralic notes, seasalt and briny smoke.

Finish: Long and tangy, with notes of gripping oak and fruit.

Very interesting

As a huge fan of Bowmores I would say this one is bit different from everything else I tried. It is something between those old "tropical fruits" Bowmores and nowadays more smoky ones. This one has some interesting fresh mint notes on palate and aftertaste. Significant, but not overwhelming oak influence and nice notes of vanilla, black pepper and little smoke
